Oshkosh's Wittman Regional Airport (OSH) is "known and loved by millions" as home to the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual AirVenture.
Thanks to the EAA and thousands of volunteers, individuals from all over the world have come to think of Oshkosh as an experience, a once-a-year opportunity to immerse themselves in all things aviation.
It's one reason Wittman Regional Airport is often called the "General Aviation Capital of the World."
But take a closer look and you'll find that Wittman Regional Airport is also a local business aviation hub for the Fox Cities.
With easy access to nearby Route 41 and adjacent rail freight service, OSH offers visiting pilots everything from an international class 8,000-foot instrument runway, as well as three others, superb Fixed Base Operators and other aviation companies ready to welcome you as a regular customer.
Operated by Winnebago County, Oshkosh's Wittman Regional Airport is named after EAA member and aviation pioneer Steve Wittman, whose original home still sits on the northeast corner of the field.
